Day 45 - Calistoga to Brookings

Ellie can't contain her excitement at a rest stop.

It's always chaotic at Confusion Hill.

Every photo of Big Foot is blurry. Yes they are.

Gorgeous late afternoon light rakes through the last of the tree leaves.

Another rest stop and this time it's full on with disc chase.

A top-secret downlink and supercomputer are housed in this building. Dunno why they painted it orange.

The Midway Drive-In survives for yet another year. Seems the motor home crew has found it and has dug in for a winter of nightly screenings.

Suddenly as we drive by - a portal appears in the forest. We keep going at top speed.

Since Gregor retired from the Vancouver Mayor's chair - he has moved to Orick Ca.

The bear bums continue to welcome visitors to the town of Klamath.

Very little is clear as you pass through this northern section of California. Paul and Babe are no exception.

Thank goodness by some miracle we've made it to Oregon. Best choice hands down for dining in Brookings - the Oxenfre pub.

If you're lucky enough to be here Dec 7 there will even be live music. Too bad - but that's not us - this time round.
